Great app for those exploring MBTI. Thanks for the update! Looking through it again after all this time and still learning from it.

I cannot even open this app. I paid for it but it's worthless.

This app need updating. To mention a few problems.... Crash's periodically. Test results unchanged from pervious tester even thou new person is added. Its so frustrating and embarrassing when that "new person" takes the test giving each question consideration and thought. When the tester gets to question 19 *FLASH* they are blown out to the home screen.... Even thou there are issues its a great app! Would otherwise be five 🌟 in my book. Is there going to be an update anytime soon? I do hope so... its a great app but there are problems.

When I try to add a third profile, he app freezes every time. Please update.

I loved this app, but it has not worked since iOS 8 came out and there have been no updates. I miss it!!

The assessments function work well, but I can't add additional profiles or delete them. When I attempt to do either, it freezed the app. Is there a fix on this?

I don't recommend this app. Everything is much too vague.

I like this app but I bought it so I could type friends of mine without needing Internet access. I know my type, this app does not. I feel 40 questions is a bit thin for a decent sample and the results support that. 8 questions? -Are you kidding me? Who thought that was a good idea? Not a good way to build rapport with anyone who knows anything about type theory. I hope in the future the tests will take typing people more seriously.

Wow there's an entire book worth of material in here! And very accessible and practical. Some of the reviews say that elements are off. But the theory stuff looks spot on to me. Look and think and you'll see! There's a lot of great observations about the types. I've used Myers Briggs but haven't seen the keywords before--what a neat idea and they totally work. Spooky! And I'm finally learning the types. The icon for each one helps. The relationship match ups have got me thinking. This is totally a type junky's dream come true.

I just realized, the reported cognitive processes according to Meyers-Briggs theory. It said I am ENFP. It then said that I most enjoy "Extraverted thinking"... it should be "Extraverted iNtuition". My extraverted preference is my "Perceiving", so the it's looking in the wrong category for my preferred function. This app is a cheap knockoff of Meyers-Briggs theory. Old_________________________ This app is simple, straightforward, and easy to use... to the point that it is not a good representation of the Meyers-Briggs personality types. It is: - Simple, but oversimplified - Straightforward, but not accurate - Easy to use, and easy to misinterpret Also, the questions in the test have very biased wording, so that if I am familiar with the types, I am more likely to choose based on the type I Expect, instead of the type I Want.

Whoa, this is sooooo cool! I was taking the test and it totally helped me understand myself better. And a little secret for everyone else out there: if you want to get to know your friends better, then have them take the test and then you both look at their results... It definitely helps me communicate better with my friends now that I know their personality types from this handy (and fun!) little app.

I love, love this app! I can deal with coworkers on a more effective level now. Thank you!

I highly recommend getting this app and PsychTypes (by BSM Consulting) together and using them in tandem. Both are excellent and come from sources that have taught me a great deal in depth about the whole subject. In fact this app uses a deeper and more effective version of the personality type model than the other one does. A caveat: the version of the MBTI on this app, like any other version of the MBTI, is only meant to be taken as a first approximation and is right the first time only 70% of the time. (For decades I was mistyped as an INTJ by the MBTI; it took professional counseling for me to figure out that I'm in fact an ENFP, as some ENFPs are wannabe INTJs.) The MBTI is really meant to be taken under the administration of someone qualified to give it and to give feedback on how one actually behaves rather than how one thinks he behaves. That's one reason why Dr. Nardi takes other approaches on this app which may be more helpful in figuring out what type one truly is at the "core".

My dad works as a training specailist for MBT and has taught me that I am an ENFP while my brother is an INFJ. I took the test myself and it was accurate. While comparing me to my brother, it said my brother "strongly uses introverted thinking but may not rely on introverted thinking". That should be fixed in the next update.

Great update! The 40 questions got me thinking about my type and I got a better understanding of it. Really does teach you so much about yourself and others. Almost magical at parts, especialy the suggested words that people react to. It is fun! Got this app and already used in many real life situations, with my friends and at work. Really makes communication easier! I have tried the app in some real world situations and found it immensly helpful! It has helped me in a business meeting I had and with my friends. Love it! Highly recomnded!

A bit pricey, but it is a useful and informative app. Relatively accurate, and you can keep track of some friends and compare results. I can recommend this app.

When comparing you have to manually adjust the types. It does not pull from the inputted profile. Test seam accurate thus far. Would raise rating with some cleaning up and adding some profile trading with other people.

I really love being able to take the MBTI in my pocket. I speak in Myers-Briggs shorthand with a few of my friends, and this gives us another way to interact with one another. I love the feature where you can place two personality types in contrast to learn how to communicate more effectively with people who may see the world from a different angle. I haven't seen anything like this in the past. My one critique is that the NT types and NF types get switched in a few of the deeper analysis parts of the app. This needs to be fixed in an update.

Tremendous app. Fun, informativ, and very well designed.

I've taken my MBTI assessment hundreds of times with many different test sources. This is the first time that I took the test and the results ended in a different MBTI type then any other test. It makes me think this is not accurate. I doubt that 1 out of hundreds is the benchmark.

Continues to be one of my favorite apps. But the wording is still confusing on some questions. I'd recommend having an outsider look them over and tell you their understanding of what is being asked and what each answer means, and see if that matches the intended meaning. Specifically, questions 20 and 22 from the 40 question test are confusing. Question 19 could use some rewording as well.

Noticed that in the details section that the info for ENFP and ENTP are swapped. Could really mis-lead people. I'd double check them all.

Def an interesting & informative app. Please add an option to save the profile!

I learned so much about myself with this application. Just that is priceless.

I was doing this analysis with myself and a friend of mine. We are basically brothers yet we differ hugely within mind And soul. My friend is some- what a conservative & your classic lawyer type. When I'm the film director wanna be, filled with liberal concepts & just your everyday artist. Yet when the results came up through this app, it was interesting & quite mind-boggling! Explained the pros and cons of our lifestyles and how they oddly synergize so easily together. Worth the struggle of $3.

Would love to see the ability to save a lost of names and their personality type.

I loved the idea of this app but felt that the original test was just not accurate(the results were all over the place)...The new long test is dead on! It matched the results of a professionally administered MBTI test I had taken back in the mid 90's, and I think that had at least 150 questions!

I love the app but would like to have a way to store the assessment portions?

If you are interested in MBTI types this is a must-have app. Even if you already know a lot about type it is fun and interesting. I appreciate the balance of info for temperament and type. I also like the 8-question test-it was more accurate than the new one for me.

I agree with others that this app has too few questions. Amazing that it is decently accurate with only 8. A friend of mine had several types light up so no clear answer. I think a bar char with how many points you score for each type would be nice so that you can see how far/strong on the spectrum of types you are. Could be better with these changes -- more questions (could have option for 10, 25, 50, or 100 questions depending on whether you want quick or accurate) and add bar charts.

Why are there onle 8 questions??

Program does not have enough questions to nail down personality type. Gives you multiple choices of personality type. Over priced at this point.

But u can't save ur results and then do someone elses and then compare. Def needs some updates. And it only has 8 questions! R u sure u can tell personality types from only 8?!

This app has only 8 questions to determine a personality type, and besides, it does not tell you ur exact personality type. For example, it would give you three to four types for one person.. This app would have been better if it has many questions and give an exact type instead of million for one person.

I have heard about the Personality Type Theory but never believed in it until now. This application enabled me to quickly analyze who I’m really dealing with in my relationships. I was trying to negotiate a lease with my new landlord but he wouldn’t put in a washing machine in the place, then I used this application to find out his personality type and that did it! I couldn’t believe it, but when I applied the Type Theory to my dealings with him, he softened right up and installed a brand spanking new washer / dryer in my place. Thanks Type App! I love this application’s simplicity and straight forward interface, it’s my new favorite thing to do, figure out what personalities are in my life and how to best approach them. If only everybody had this little magic wand in their hands all the time, we wouldn’t be having any more wars!

At my place of employment, employees personalities are tested using a very similar method. This app is remarkably accurate. I particularly like the fact that you can test and compare personality types within the app! And it'll let you know how you'll work or get along with a person. Also, if you already know a persons' type, you can easily review their tendencies prior to interaction with them for more favorable results! A must have for those familiar with this type of personality testing. And a must try for those wanting to understand people and/or themselves better! And no I wasn't paid to write this!
