if the software also showed you how many answer the person had in each of the opposing categories ( for exemple: 13 i, 27 e, 19 n, 21 s etc.). Id give it even five stars if you could register each result with the name of the person (in the way "mypsy" does for exemple). The only thing Im really not very fond of are the questions themselves. I personally dont think theyre well chosen and Id be curious to know where theyre from.

As said in title, this is a nice app (elegant, but also well done for users). As I am interested in MBTI, its good to me to have it in my pocket. Only few comments for a future update: - for comparison between 2 peoples, it could be cool to have access through a list to already recorded people. - for adding a person, if the MBTI profile is already identified through an external test, it could be cool to just choose it on the grid or from a list. - copy function, email option could also be very helpul for communication (or for translation on Internet). With all that, it would be perfect to me. Thanks for this app, not too expensive compared to the interest of the approach.

this application simply rocks. You can do many individual MBTI profiles within the app and compare them to each other with great results & recommendations. Simply stunning!

The test i took on line had like 70 something questions, and narrowed my personality type down to one. Make the test with specific results, then ill give it 5 stars.

Not worth it as the results are not very specific. A more in-depth assessment would be an improvement.

A personality cannot be accurately determined in 8 questions. Might be useful as a reference for personality types, but for personality assesment, big failure.

As a student of psychology I am more than dissapointed. A personality test that is 8 questions? Please dont buy this app.

Over the past 25 years in business, 10 in large scale fee negotiations, I have used this MBTI approach with great success. Yes it is a well validated approach in the literature. Yes it is usually a much longer questionnaire. Guess what? Their 8 questions pegged me exactly the same as these longer questionnaires. (The authors also recently added a 40 question version to reassure people.). This app has also received great reviews on other web sites. What can you do with this app? 1 Know your own personality style strengths and limitations. 2. Learn easily about other styles. 3. USE THE 8 QUESTIONS to fill in your own best estimated answers for someone else -- the app does a great job of pointing out how you differ and therefore how to work with the other. All in all, a great little tool that is well designed and delivers as promised.

I was skeptical about an eight question test... But the eight question test, the forty question test, and a one hundred and forty question test on the Internet all gave me the same results (although the Internet test also gave me a headache). Definetly worth the low cost. I would recomend it to everyone, even if you dont believe in personality tests... Its bound to surprise you :)

Kudos for creating a comprehensive, clear and easy-to-use app that gets to the full essence without alot of fluff. Brilliant. Ive been involved with psychological type since 1988 and deeply appreciate how this app gets you to the core essence quickly and directly. Very well done. Thanks!

This salad of different psychological tests is hardly of any use; nor in clinical practice, neither in the research field. Is it good only to make general public more sensitive to psychological issues?

This app need updating. To mention a few problems.... Crashs periodically. Test results unchanged from pervious tester even thou new person is added. Its so frustrating and embarrassing when that "new person" takes the test giving each question consideration and thought. When the tester gets to question 19 *FLASH* they are blown out to the home screen.... Even thou there are issues its a great app! Would otherwise be five

At my place of employment, employees personalities are tested using a very similar method. This app is remarkably accurate. I particularly like the fact that you can test and compare personality types within the app! And itll let you know how youll work or get along with a person. Also, if you already know a persons type, you can easily review their tendencies prior to interaction with them for more favorable results! A must have for those familiar with this type of personality testing. And a must try for those wanting to understand people and/or themselves better! And no I wasnt paid to write this!

I have heard about the Personality Type Theory but never believed in it until now. This application enabled me to quickly analyze who I’m really dealing with in my relationships. I was trying to negotiate a lease with my new landlord but he wouldn’t put in a washing machine in the place, then I used this application to find out his personality type and that did it! I couldn’t believe it, but when I applied the Type Theory to my dealings with him, he softened right up and installed a brand spanking new washer / dryer in my place. Thanks Type App! I love this application’s simplicity and straight forward interface, it’s my new favorite thing to do, figure out what personalities are in my life and how to best approach them. If only everybody had this little magic wand in their hands all the time, we wouldn’t be having any more wars!

This app has only 8 questions to determine a personality type, and besides, it does not tell you ur exact personality type. For example, it would give you three to four types for one person.. This app would have been better if it has many questions and give an exact type instead of million for one person.

But u cant save ur results and then do someone elses and then compare. Def needs some updates. And it only has 8 questions! R u sure u can tell personality types from only 8?!
